What Information Do We Collect?

Personal Information You Disclose to Us

We collect personal information that you provide to us.

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Website, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, participate in activities on the Website, or otherwise contact us. • Personal Information Provided by You. We collect names, email addresses, passwords, and other similar information. We also collect North Star guidance, goals and interests, and other personal context you choose to provide.
• Payment Data. We may collect data necessary to process your payment if you make purchases, such as your payment instrument number (such as a credit card number) and the security code associated with your payment instrument. All payment data is stored and processed by our Payment Service Provider. Please review their privacy notice for details on how payment data is handled.
• Calendar Data. If you connect an online calendar, we read upcoming event titles, times, locations, and attendee emails to power event pre-briefings. We do not modify your calendars.
• Network and Professional Data. Daymaker Connect is a network intelligence platform. To use our core features, you may provide us with your professional network data, such as exports from LinkedIn or other professional platforms, event attendance records, and contact lists. This data is used solely to power the personalized network analysis features described in this notice. We use this data to generate AI-powered analyses, including network profiles, event pre-briefings, and relationship recommendations. Individual network and profile data you provide to Daymaker Connect, including LinkedIn exports, contact lists, and AI-generated analyses derived from that data, is never shared in event sponsorship scenarios. Data shared with event sponsors is strictly limited to the registration information collected at the time of a specific event, specifically your name and contact information, and only where you have been notified of that sharing at the point of registration.
• Social Media Login Data.We may offer you the option to register with us using your existing social media account details. If you choose to register this way, we will collect the information described in the section titled “How Do We Handle Your Third-Party Logins” below.

All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.

Information Collected from Other Sources

We may collect limited data from public databases, marketing partners, social media platforms, data enrichment providers, and other outside sources.

To provide our network intelligence features and to enhance our ability to deliver relevant services, we may obtain information about you or your professional contacts from other sources, such as public databases, joint marketing partners, affiliate programs, data providers, and social media platforms. This information may include job titles, email addresses, phone numbers, LinkedIn profiles, and related professional data. When we use third-party data providers, we require that they comply with applicable privacy laws and maintain their own privacy notices governing their data practices.

How Do We Use Your Information?

We process your information based on legitimate business interests, the fulfillment of our contract with you, compliance with our legal obligations, and your consent.

We use personal information collected via our Website for a variety of business purposes described below. We process your personal information in reliance on our legitimate business interests, to enter into or perform a contract with you, with your consent, and for compliance with our legal obligations.

• To facilitate account creation and logon. If you link your account with us to a third-party account (such as your Google account), we use the information you allow us to collect from those third parties to facilitate account creation and the logon process.
• To power network intelligence features. The core purpose of Daymaker Connect is to help you understand and act on your professional network. We use your network data to generate event pre-briefs, network synergy analyses, and attendee relevance rankings. This data is processed only on your behalf and is not shared with other users or third parties without your consent. AI processing is performed in part through third-party large language model providers, and data submitted for processing is subject to those providers' data handling practices.
• To manage user accounts. We may use your information for the purposes of managing your account and keeping it in working order.
• To send administrative information. We may use your personal information to send you product, service, and new feature information and information about changes to our terms, conditions, and policies.
• To protect our Services. We may use your information as part of our efforts to keep our Website safe and secure, for example for fraud monitoring and prevention.
• To comply with legal obligations. We may use your information to enforce our terms, conditions, and policies, comply with legal and regulatory requirements, respond to legal requests, and prevent harm.
• For other business purposes. We may use your information for data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns, and evaluating and improving our Website, products, marketing, and your experience. We may store this information in aggregated and anonymized form so that it is not associated with individual end users. We will not use identifiable personal information without your consent.

• Event Hosting: When Daymaker Connect hosts or co-hosts events in partnership with a sponsoring organization, registered attendees will be notified at the time of registration that their name and contact information may be shared with the event sponsor(s).

Service Providers

We share the minimum necessary data with the following processors:

• Google Firebase: authentication, Firestore database, hosting.
• Anthropic: AI queries, categorization, and briefings (Claude API). Anthropic does not train its models on API data by default.
• OpenAI: text embeddings for semantic search. OpenAI does not train its models on API data.
• Stripe: subscription billing. Card details are handled by Stripe and never touch our servers.
• Google and Microsoft: OAuth providers for calendar integration, if you enable it.

How Do We Handle Your Third-Party Logins?

If you choose to register or log in to our services using a social media account, we may have access to certain information about you.

Our Website may offer you the ability to register and log in using your third-party social media account details, such as your Google account. Where you choose to do this, we will receive certain profile information about you from your social media provider. The profile information we receive may vary depending on the provider but will often include your name, email address, and other information you choose to make public on that platform.

We will use the information we receive only for the purposes described in this privacy notice or otherwise made clear to you on the Website. We do not control, and are not responsible for, other uses of your personal information by your third-party account provider. We recommend that you review their privacy notice to understand how they collect, use, and share your personal information.

You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your unique password and account information and for controlling access to your email communications from Daymaker Connect. Your privacy settings may also be affected by changes to the functionality of third-party sites and services that you connect to the Daymaker Connect service. Daymaker Connect is not responsible for the functionality or security measures of any third party.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Daymaker Connect’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we use Google Calendar data only to display upcoming events to you within Daymaker Connect and to generate AI pre-briefings on your behalf. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve user-facing features (for example, sending event details to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate a briefing). We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not allow humans to read it except with your explicit consent, for security purposes, or to comply with applicable law.

How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy notice unless otherwise required by law.

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law, such as for tax, accounting, or other legal requirements. No purpose in this notice will require us to keep your personal information for longer than the period of time in which you have an active account with us.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?

We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures.

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Website is at your own risk. You should only access the Website within a secure environment.

Where Your Data Lives

Your account, contacts, and generated content are stored in Google Cloud Firestore, partitioned under your user ID. Calendar OAuth refresh tokens are stored server-side and never returned to the browser. Reflections Match API keys are encrypted at rest when an encryption secret is configured.

Do We Collect Information from Minors?

We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.

We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Website, you represent that you are at least 18, or that you are the parent or guardian of a minor and consent to such minor dependent's use of the Website. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. What Are Your Privacy Rights?

You may review, change, or terminate your account at any time.

If you are a resident in the European Economic Area and you believe we are unlawfully processing your personal information, you have the right to complain to your local data protection supervisory authority. Account Information

If you would like to review or change the information in your account or terminate your account, you can log in to your account settings and update your user account, or contact us using the contact information provided below. Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases. However, we may retain some information in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our Terms of Use, and comply with applicable legal requirements.

Opting out of email marketing: You can unsubscribe from our marketing email list at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the emails we send or by contacting us using the details provided below. You will then be removed from the marketing email list. However, we may still communicate with you, for example to send service-related emails that are necessary for the administration and use of your account, to respond to service requests, or for other non-marketing purposes. To otherwise opt out, you may contact us using the contact information provided below.

Controls for Do-Not-Track Features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.

Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect and store information about how you interact with our Website. Cookies are small data files placed on your device that help us recognize you, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use our site.

We use the following types of cookies:

• Strictly necessary cookies, which are required for the Website to function and cannot be disabled. Session management, authentication, and security fall into this category.

Do California Residents Have Specific Privacy Rights?

We will make sure the data is not publicly displayed on the Website, but please be aware that the data may not be completely removed from all our systems (for example, backups).

Will your information be shared with anyone else? We may disclose your personal information to our service providers pursuant to a written contract between us and each service provider. Daymaker Connect LLC has not sold any personal information to third parties for a business or commercial purpose in the preceding 12 months. When Daymaker Connect hosts or co-hosts events in partnership with a sponsoring organization, registered attendees will be notified at the time of registration that their name and contact information may be shared with the event sponsor(s).

Your rights with respect to your personal data:

• Right to request deletion. You can ask for the deletion of your personal information. If you ask us to delete your personal information, we will respect your request and delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions provided by law.
• Right to be informed. Depending on the circumstances, you have a right to know whether we collect and use your personal information, the categories of personal information that we collect, the purposes for which the collected personal information is used, whether we sell your personal information to third parties, and the categories of third parties to whom the personal information was sold or disclosed for a business purpose.
• Right to Non-Discrimination. We will not discriminate against you if you exercise your privacy rights.
• Verification process. Upon receiving your request, we will need to verify your identity to determine you are the same person about whom we have information in our system. In line with the 2018 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Daymaker Connect offers Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) to users upon request.
